Bashiru Akinfolarin 

Bashiru Akinfolarin is a Senior Manager and a Vice President with EA RESIG, bringing nearly 15 years of experience supporting complex private equity real estate investment structures. He works closely with real estate investment managers and stakeholders to oversee accounting and financial reporting processes for private equity real estate funds.

Bashiru co-leads accounting and financial reporting engagements, supporting the preparation and review of financial statements, addressing technical accounting matters, and ensuring the timely delivery of client reporting. He collaborates with fund managers, investors, and internal teams to ensure reporting accuracy and compliance with U.S. GAAP and investor reporting requirements, while also mentoring and guiding team members across engagements.

Prior to joining EA RESIG, Bashiru worked in the asset management practice of a global professional services firm where he supported audit engagements for private equity partnerships and investment funds. In this role, he performed control testing, financial statement analysis, and substantive procedures across a range of financial statement areas.
