Hugo Azcarate  Hugo Azcarate is a Senior Manager and Vice President with EA RESIG, bringing more than 20 years of experience in fund administration, accounting, and financial reporting for alternative investment managers. He specializes in private equity real estate funds, REITs, and other real estate investment structures.

Hugo oversees key client engagements and the delivery of fund accounting and financial reporting services, including investor allocations, capital activity, financial statement preparation, and the review of complex transactions. He works closely with clients, auditors, internal specialists, and accounting teams to address technical accounting matters, support complex fund structures, and ensure timely, accurate reporting.

Prior to joining the firm, Hugo held leadership roles at global financial services and fund administration organizations, where he managed accounting teams supporting a range of alternative investment funds. His experience also includes leading operational improvements through automation, workflow optimization, and process standardization to enhance reporting accuracy, efficiency, and overall service delivery.
